AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S III to arrive on or before June 21st

Though AT&T has yet to officially announce a release date to begin selling its version of the Samsung Galaxy S III, Droid Matters has noticed that when you pre-order on the AT&T Premier website, the handset is scheduled for arrival on or before June 21st.

To clarify, AT&T Premier is a segment of the AT&T Wireless service specifically for customers who own a small business or customers who are employed at qualifying businesses. Other than some discounted devices and services, Premier has never historically gotten early access to upcoming devices. The June 21st date listed on the website suggests that it could be an error on AT&T’s part either with the date or just leaking it too early.

T-Mobile and Sprint have already announced that the Galaxy S III will be available on their networks on that same date, June 21st, so it doesn’t seem likely that this is all just a coincidence. The “on or around June 21st” ETA just started appearing on the regular AT&T website too. It’s only a matter of time before the carrier makes it official, but alas, a spokesperson for AT&T still declined to comment with BGR.

Of all the nationwide carriers, Verizon Wireless is getting the Galaxy S III the latest, at least according to the all-but-confirmed AT&T release date. Verizon starts shipping its version of Samsung’s newest flagship handset on July 9th. It should pair nicely with the network’s brand new Share Everything plans just unveiled this morning, making it the first in the country to offer shared data plans.
