We’ve seen a number of crazy games lately, many of which are re-introducing zombies and ninjas to the mainstream culture. Now a company called AppyNation wants to ride one of those trends, while also hoping to appeal to the FarmVille fans. Their new game, titled Ninja Ranch, is described as a ninja-flavored mash-up of Sudoku, Tetris and animal husbandry.

The puzzle game comes with various characters such as the Crispy Duck, the sage Wizard Lizard, the noble Red Panda and the mighty wind-powered Flatulent Cow. Moreover, a Lucky Cat appears from time to time to bring good fortune to the ninja apprentices who are cunning enough to take advantage of its score-building effect.

There are more than 20 Game Center achievements to complete, and you can unlock multiple extras by earning coins for completing levels. Finally, a Daily Spin with prizes and tons of funny wise ancient ninja proverbs will keep keen Ninja Ranchers coming back every day. Pretty weird yet just for that reason we may be easily talking about a hit game…
