The least Desire-able smartphone in HTC’s portfolio, Desire C, is heading to Rogers Wireless. The information comes from MobileSyrup, which caught the screenshot above which says that Desire C cases are coming to the Canadian carrier. And where there’s cases, there’s handsets – it’s that simple. Unfortunately, we don’t have any dates to share at this moment, but judging by the phone’s specs, Rogers will want to pitch it to the back-to-school crowd.

Speaking of specs, the Desire C is an entry-level smartphone with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear camera, 600MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, NFC capability, Beats Audio technology, microSD memory card slot, 1230 mAh battery, while Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show.

All said, we expect this little fella to sell for free on a three-year contract or some $150 sans any long-term commitments…
