Google posted an automated message on its customer service line that confirms the Nexus 7 tablets are shipping as expected. TechnologyTell has a recording of the greeting, which was confirmed by Android Police and Ars Technica. The delay that was hinted at by an email from electronics retailer ABT is apparently an error, and customers who ordered the device should expect it to arrive as originally scheduled. According to Google, most pre-orders should arrive in the next few days, while current orders will ship in 1-2 weeks.
