Well what do you know, Samsung may release the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III as soon as this August or September. According to SamMobile, which carefully watches “every step Samsung makes,” the Korean giant is already testing the new software and the first results are promising. Of course, they also need to make sure the software works on different versions of the device, whether they use their own Exynos chip or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4.
And the good news doesn’t stop there. Samsung Galaxy S II is also being tested with the new software and as far as we know – it should get its Jelly bean fix too. After all, if Galaxy S can handle Android 4.1, so can Sammy’s last-year’s flagship model.
So if everything goes as planned, we’ll see a number of different Samsung smartphones and tablets getting their updates before the end of the year. We’ll watch this carefully…
