It’s amazing how yesterday’s high-end consumer electronics get so cheap so quickly. Back in November 2011, the Sony Tablet P was selling for 499.99 GBP and now it could be yours for 199.97 GBP (about $313), which is 300 GBP less!

Yeah we do realize the Japanese company is working on a new tablet that will make their existing portfolio look cheap, but it’s still a huge price drop. I guess we also have Google to thank for helping slash the prices of tablets since their Nexus 7 offers quite a bang for 200 bucks.

Anyway, the Tablet P has that atypical dual-screen design, two cameras, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, while Android 3.2 Honeycomb is running the show. Ice Cream Sandwich update is planned, though we’re not sure when it will be released.

If all this sounds interesting to you, hop over to this page at Dixons’ website where you’ll find the Tablet P selling for 200 pounds.
