Everything Everywhere, which is a joint venture between British arms of Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom, apparently plans to bump both Orange and T-Mobile brands starting from October. The information comes from Sky News which says that Orange UK and T-Mobile UK brands will reportedly be dropped for all existing customers around March 2013. The story goes on suggesting that that the idea is to offer 4G services under the Everything Everywhere brand.
That, however, is just one side of the story. PC Pro, on the other hand, says that claims of a rebrand are “entirely speculative.” Everything Everywhere’s spokesperson had this to say: “We remain committed to our hugely successful brands Orange and T-Mobile and continue to invest in them for the foreseeable future.”
In a nutshell, we can’t really claim a thing here and can only wait to see how this pans out…
