Tomorrow is a big day for Nokia with the Finnish company preparing to unveil its latest Windows Phone devices. We know that at least two phones will be announced – Lumia 820 (Arrow?) and Lumia 920. As you would expect, we care more about the latter model which will be Nokia’s new flagship phone. The rumor is that it will come with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch HD screen, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. In addition, we’re hearing that the phone will be touted as PureView even though its camera sensor will count just 8 megapixels (as opposed to 41 or 21). However, it is said that Lumia 920 will rock some advancements in image stabilization and camera software which is always a plus, but I’m not sure it justifies the PureView name.
In the other Nokia news, we’ve also learned that both Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 will support wireless charging that could possibly (it’s not confirmed) sing along the Qi wireless power standard. If that’s true, you will be able to use either Nokia’s or some other’s Qi-based charger to add extra juice to your new Windows Phone. We’ll have all the information within a day so stay tuned. 😉
