Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro pricing and features land on Flipkart before launch date is even set

Samsung is doing something a little unusual with the Galaxy F70 Pro. The company has put the phone’s pricing and features live on Flipkart before actually announcing when you can buy it. No launch date. No availability. Just specs and prices sitting there, ready to go. It’s a strange move, but it tells us one thing clearly: this phone is very close to dropping.

According to SamMobile, the Flipkart page for the Galaxy F70 Pro has been updated from a basic teaser to a full spec sheet with confirmed pricing for India. The display is a Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. That’s a solid screen setup for what is clearly a mid-range device, and Victus+ is a nice touch that you don’t always see at this price tier.

Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Samsung has not revealed the specific Snapdragon model yet, which is a weird omission. Still, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage are real performance wins that suggest this won’t feel sluggish in daily use. The phone ships with One UI 8.5 on Android 16 QPR2, and Samsung is promising six major OS upgrades and six years of security patches. That’s the same long-term support commitment it offers on flagship Galaxy devices, and it’s a genuinely compelling reason to consider this phone over cheaper competitors that abandon software support after a year or two.

Battery life is a headline feature here. The Galaxy F70 Pro carries a 6,000mAh cell with 45W wired charging, and Samsung claims it can stream YouTube for more than 24 hours on a single charge. Bypass charging is also supported, which means the phone can run directly off the charger during heavy use without cycling the battery. That’s a feature that hardcore users and mobile gamers specifically look for, and it’s good to see it included.

The phone comes in Alpha Black and Aura Green, and Samsung plans to offer it in three RAM and storage variants. Pricing details are live on Flipkart, along with mentions of special launch pricing, though the specifics of those deals haven’t been spelled out yet.

The F series sits below Samsung’s A series in India, targeting buyers who want a dependable phone without spending flagship money. The F70 Pro, with its big battery, high-refresh display, and multi-year software promise, is clearly Samsung’s attempt to give that segment something worth caring about. Indian buyers have a lot of options from Xiaomi, Realme, and others in this space, so the software longevity angle could be the real differentiator here.

  • Super AMOLED, Full HD+, 120Hz display with Gorilla Glass Victus+
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage
  • One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2), six OS upgrades, six years of security patches
  • 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging and bypass charging
  • Available in Alpha Black and Aura Green
  • Three RAM and storage configurations with special launch pricing

But the launch date question is still wide open. Samsung has revealed almost everything except the one thing you actually need to buy the thing. Expect that announcement soon.
