Nokia announces the Lumia 820

Nokia followed the announcement of its flagship device the Lumia 920 with it’s mid-range little brother the Lumia 820. The Finnish manufacturer is aiming for the average consumer with its mid-range offering, the Nokia Lumia 820. As the successor to the Lumia 800, the 820 will include the following specs:

  • • 4.3” HD AMOLED Display with ClearBlack
  • NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, expandable memory
  • Removable backplate (different colors)
  • Wireless inductive charging (optional)
  • 8MP Carl-Zeiss rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera
  • Dual-core 1.5GHz CPU

As you can see, the Lumia 820 doesn’t have the cutting-edge PureView camera technology found in the Lumia 920, which was alos announced by Nokia today. Still, it’s an affordable option that could do well with new smarpthone owners and those in developing countries.

The Lumia 920 is what Microsoft and Nokia needed all along to compete in the very fast changing
smart phone market. It has great hardware and software. Anyone that buys one will not be sad
that they did and will enjoy using this smart phone. the 820 is cool too but if it had PureView
Camera Tech in it wow what a one two punch Nokia would have. I am a “Verizon” Customer
and the Rumor is We will get our “Nokia” smart phone with PureView camera technology. I hope this true because “Nokia” needs to have a great smart phone on “Verizon” to really sell enough
smart phones to get in the Black and avoid bankruptcy frankly folks I do not think Nokia will
go bankrupt Nokia will sell enough Feature phones and lumia smart phones to stay in Business
and that is the for real bottom line
