TELUS testing LTE in Lethbridge as we speak

Looks like TELUS will soon expand its LTE coverage in Lethbridge, Alberta as part of its $8 million investment in the area. Apparently some users from around the Interwebs have already noticed their LTE-enabled devices catching the LTE signal in Lethbridge, hinting us the launch is imminent (or at least not that far). As you can see from the screenshot above, taken with TELUS’ HTC One X, everything is working like a charm, though at the moment we don’t have any information on LTE speeds and coverage area. Likewise, we don’t have the exact launch date — since TELUS’ only said that the network will be active by the end of this year — but can at least hope the LTE will be switched on sooner rather than later. We’ll let you know if we hear anything new on this. Stay tuned…
