Let’s face it – there are not that many high-quality apps available for Android tablets. In comparison, there are many more awesome iPad titles that further cement Apple’s (top) position in the tablet market.

Obviously Google doesn’t like that and it has now decided to help developers make high-quality apps. To that end, the search giant unveiled the tablet app quality checklist, in which it lays out the most important elements of an awesome app in ten easy steps. It’s a must-read for every developer entering the tablet app market as you can learn about optimizing for larger screens, and adjusting fonts and widgets for the extra screen estate.

In addition, Google wowed to share useful developer tips through its Android Developers Google+ page every day this week. Yup, you should add it to your circles if you still haven’t done so.

Then, when you’re out with an awesome app, make sure to submit it to Appscovery for some extra exposure. 😉
