A friend of mine from Slovenia has teamed-up with other mobile app developers throughout the region to organize the Mini BlackBerry 10 Jam session in Maribor. The event will showcase all of the capabilities RIM’s new platform offers, helping interested individuals and companies get an edge in the market. In addition, those attending will also be able to schmooze with other developers and make valuable connections, get expert guidance, and — if they’re lucky — win one of BlackBerry devices offered in Prize Lottery.

The in-depth breakout sessions are focused on HTML5 + BlackBerry WebWorks and Native C/C++ development for the BlackBerry platform. The full-day event is free to attend and it will feature few host experts, including Aaron Ardiri (DE), Luca Filigheddu (IT), Lukasz Dzierzak (PL) and Dennis Reumer (NL)…

If you’ve been planning to visit Balkans and if you want to monetize on the BlackBerry 10 platform, we suggest checking out the Mini BlackBerry 10 Jam session. Full details about the event are available from this page.

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
