Motorola announced a new Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone for US Cellular – ELECTRIFY M. Available on uscellular.com on November 8 and in the operator’s stores the next day, this Moto baby comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, 8GB of built-in storage, NFC, 3G/4G (LTE) and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth and so on. In other words, we’re talking about US Cellular’s version of the DROID M. And yes, it should get its serving of Jelly Beans at some point in the future — though we’re not sure when that will happen exactly.

As for the price, the ELECTRIFY M will sell for $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate in markets where the carrier offers LTE service and elsewhere for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. US Cellular, in partnership with King Street Wireless, currently offers 4G LTE service covering 31% of its customers and 58% of US Cellular customers will enjoy faster 4G LTE speeds by the end of the year.
