Samsung announced that its Galaxy Camera will be available in the UK on November 8th from the country’s leading retailers like The Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u and Jessops. Prior to that, eager buyers will be able to buy it at Samsung brand stores from 5pm on November 7th.

As you probably know, the Samsung Galaxy Camera is an Android-powered device running version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) of the platform. As such, it allows many advanced features like instant photo sharing and image editing, along with the ability to browse the web, check your email, update your social networks and so on.

In the camera department, Sammy’s baby comes equipped with a 21x optical zoom and super-bright 16M BSI CMOS sensor, meaning it’s possible to take high quality pictures with the Galaxy Camera while its “Smart Pro” technology guarantees the end result is a “professional-looking, stunning shot every time.”

In the press release we’ve got, the price was not mentioned, but we’d have to bet it will be north of 200 GBP, perhaps even 300 GBP.
