Huawei will be unveiling quite a few phones in the next couple of weeks and/or months as it tries to beef-up its portfolio to cover different market segments.

In the Windows Phone arena, the Chinese company is working on the Ascend W1 and Ascend W2, first of which will be a better device (or so we hear). Both phones are expected to be launched early next year.

When it comes to Android, we are looking at even more options, including the Ascend D2, Ascend P2 and Ascend Mate, the last of which is a promising phablet with a 6.1-inch full HD (1080p) screen, quad-core processor and 13-megapixel camera. Moreover, we also expect to see the already announced Honor 2 hitting the Western world in the next month or so.

We applaud Huawei for taking its game to the next level and it’s fair to guess they’ll continue to do so in 2013…
