Apple pushes the iPad mini in its pre-holiday ad campaign

Apple is promoting the merits of its iPad mini in a new ad campaign released this week. The ads are strategically debuting right before the big holiday shopping season that kicks off next week after Thanksgiving. Rather than focus on the hardware, the ads show off iBooks and iPhoto on both the mini and the full-sized iPad.  It’s pretty clear that Apple wants customers to know that the mini is similar to the iPad, just smaller.
