After the US, Samsung is bringing its GALAXY Camera to Canada, where interested users will be able to grab one on December 7th. As you probably know from our previous writing, we’re talking about an Android-powered digital camera which runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean while boasting 16M BSI CMOS sensor with 21x super long zoom lens. And thanks to Android and built-in 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, users are able to instantly edit and share their photos via email, social networks and so on. Moreover, it also comes with other “standard Android capabilities,” allowing you to browse the web, check your email, install apps and perform all tasks you usually need a smartphone for.

However, its “killer app” is the powerful camera and an accompanying software that makes it seamless to take stunning photos. Using the “Smart Mode” technology — which is a series of 15 default modes and settings that make professional-looking photography easy for anyone to achieve — you get to capture super-detailed images without any hassle.

Samsung failed to mention the price in its press release, but it’s safe to argue Canadians will pay for the Galaxy Camera as much as Americans do ($499).
