Google keeps expanding the list of countries that work with Google Maps Navigation, and their latest effort is to reach users in Mexico. The free turn-by-turn navigation has been launched in beta, bringing voice-guided directions in English and Spanish. Voice search is also there with the ability to look for nearby businesses and other points of interest.

In order to use Google Maps Navigation, Mexicans are required to have a smartphone running Android 2.2 Froyo or greater which means pretty much any device bought during the past 2 years will do the job. Simply update to the latest version of Google Maps and try out the new feature. ;)
