Looks like Nexus 7 docking station will finally be released in the next few days (or weeks). Such an accessory got a spot at ASUS’ Japanese website, showing the 7-inch tablet comfortably sitting in the landscape position. We also see a USB port as well as a 3.5mm audio output, allowing you to connect your Nexus 7 to existing audio system. But that’s not all, with that page also suggesting the docking station will be released in “early December” and we tend to believe ASUS won’t limit its availability to Japan, only. Rather, they’ll want to bring it to as many places as humanly possible, and take advantage of the holiday shopping craze.
As for the price, the Nexus 7 docking station will sell for 3,480 Yen, which translates into some $41.
What we don’t know, however, is whether that docking station will allow users to connect Nexus 7 to a TV. As far as I’ve understood, that won’t be an option, but you never know. 😉
