Nokia is rolling out an update for its powerful camera-phone, Nokia 808 PureView. We don’t have all the details, but we’re hearing that the software version 113.010.1508 brings improved performance and new features to the table. The 420MB heavy download certainly sounds promising as that much data should include a ton of changes and software updates.

Alas, we don’t have a single Nokia 808 PureView unit to test it out and can only read what other people are talking about. Thus far I haven’t found anything major though you should “push the button,” nonetheless. It’s a good practice to have your firmware up to date. Make sure your data is backed up prior to proceeding, just in case something goes wrong…

I agree with Mr. Steinbeck this smart phone needs Windows 8 to be of any value in the long run. they could still keep the Symbian version but bring it to the States as a Windows 8 super cam phones
