T-Mobile used CES to announce its new prepaid Unlimited Nationwide 4G data plan. The plan offers unlimited data without any caps and will be available starting tomorrow, January 9th, for all no-contract customers.

Branding itself as the “Uncarrier” for its customer-friendly plans, the new $70 per month Unlimited Nationwide 4G data plan will replace the current Unlimited Monthly4G plan that throttles your data after you reach the 5GB limit.

“Our Unlimited 4G Data plan means 4G speeds, no caps and no overages on a smoking-fast, nationwide, 4G network,” said John Legere, president and chief executive officer of T-Mobile USA in a prepared statement. “What this means is simply that T-Mobile customers are going to be able to enjoy everything a 4G smartphone is actually designed to do without limits and without a term contract.”

T-Mobile will also offer the LG Optimus L9 for $199 in conjunction with these new plans. Customers can sign up for the plans at T-Mobile retail stores or through select dealers and national retail stores.
