Sprint is preparing to add another Kyocera handset to its portfolio. The Now Network already offers the Kyocera Rise and Kyocera Milano, which will soon get a company in the form of Kyocera Torque (model number E6710). The device, pictured above, has cleared the FCC and is now pretty much ready to be introduced on the U.S. soil.

We don’t have all the details, but we do know the Torque is a rugged smartphone with support for LTE, NFC and Wi-Fi. Moreover, it has a WVGA (480×800 pixels) touchscreen, some camera on the back with flash, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show. In a nutshell, it’s the first LTE-enabled rugged smartphone on Sprint’s network.

All said, we expect Sprint to launch this baby any day now. No reason for delays as far as I can tell…
