As spotted by TouchArcade, an updated version of the hit iOS app, Temple Run, is hitting the App Store today. The sequel is already available in New Zealand and is expected to land in the US by the end of the day.
Temple Run 2 is not a spin-off or a new app, but a revamped version of the original Temple Run. The same basic gameplay that made the game so popular is still there, but now Temple Run has new visuals, improved animations and more.
You can download Temple Run 2 from the iOS App Store when it lands later today. While you wait, check out the screenshots over at TouchArcade. Visually, the new version looks fantastic!
