BlackBerry announced its new BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system and two new handsets at a big event in NYC on Wednesday. Early reviews of the flagship Z10 handset suggest the new gesture-based OS is nice, but difficult to figure out.
This entertaining video from Mashable shows what happens when five iPhone and Android owners are presented with the phone that holds the key to BlackBerry’s future.
Kelly spent the last four years covering mobile technology at
places like BGR, Gizmodo and The Unofficial Apple Weblog. Before writing, she
spent a few years working with and teaching others how to use Adobe
Flash and Macromedia Director. Even earlier than that, she spent several
years as a Ph.D student in Microbiology. When she's not writing, she
can be found fishing the lakes and hiking the mountains of Western
Maine with her husband and tribe of children. You can follow her on Twitter @kellyhodgkins.

I feel offended. I’m an Android user and this makes us all look like clueless dolts. LOL. Seriously – a new unlocking mechanism is something you only need to figure out once.

It seems like more of a slam against Blackberry. But still, any foreign os is going to take some getting used to.
