Apple released iOS 6.1.2 earlier today with a bug fix for an Exchange calendar issue that materialized in the iOS 6.1 release. The update repaired that bug, but left the exploit used in the evasi0n jailbreak untouched.

As a result, the evad3rs were able to release an updated version of their jailbreak tool that’ll work with Apple’s latest firmware. You can download the iOS 6.1.2-compatible jailbreak utility from the evasi0n website and unleash the power of Cydia on your iOS device.

I jailbroke my iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 when I was still using iOS/AT&T and I do not miss playing the terrible long waiting game for some genius to find an exploit to the latest iOS software…

I do miss the solid hardware of the iPhone, but I’ve grown too comfortable with the levels of customizations I’ve been doing with my S3. Take care iOS… we’ll always have the memories!
