The upcoming Pantech Perception has been caught at the FCC, hinting us that Verizon Wireless (or that’s Pantech) is completing the paperwork as it’s gearing toward the official launch. As you know from our previous post, we’re talking about a rock-solid mid-ranger, one that comes with a big 720p HD screen, LTE connectivity support and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor (most likely MSM8960). In addition, other “standard for Android” goodies also come included such as Wi-Fi, GPS, dual cameras and so on.
It is said that the Perception will launch at the end of March and in the meantime we’ll see whether we can play with it while at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The way I see it, Pantech’s baby offers quite a bang for the buck and in that sense I would like to see it launched in Europe and other places…
