Earlier this week, Freedom Pop announced that it was adding a home broadband option to its lineup of available services. Like all FreedomPop plans, the home service runs on Clearwire’s WiMAX network.

The new home plan includes 1GB of data for free each month and is tailor made for customers who only use the Internet occasionally. With the free plan, customers will get speeds up to 1.5Mbps, and the only cost is the price of the modem/router, which will set you back $89.

Customers who need more data than 1GB can buy plans that offer faster speeds along with higher data caps. The top tier plan has a 10GB cap, 3Mbps speeds and a price of $18.99. You can read more about the plans on Clearwire’s website.
