AT&T has clarified its pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The carrier originally gave it a flat-out $249 price tag without a storage capacity attached or any other models/prices. It turns out that the original price is for the 32GB model. AT&T’s pricing for the Galaxy S4 will officially be $199.99 for the 16GB model and $249.99 for the 32GB model, both requiring a two-year contract agreement.
This price tier has a slight advantage on the iPhone as well, since the 32GB iPhone 5 sells for $50 more at $299. Samsung could attract more customers by saving them $50 if they need the additional storage in their phone. Other carriers are expected to follow suit with this pricing, omitting the unique exception of T-Mobile with its $99 down payment.
Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T start on April 16th.
