Verizon Droid Bionic To Recieve OTA Jelly Bean Update

Motorola DROID Bionic to finally get its Android 4.0 update

Owners of Verizon’s Droid Bionic will be receiving a OTA software update next Monday, which will bring to the device Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.

Included in the Jelly Bean update are some hot features such as Google Now and expanded voice search capabilities. An improved notification scheme is also included, providing users quick access to email and app access directly from the notification panel. The improved Jelly Bean keyboard provides offline voice typing capabilities and more extensive and relevant dictionaries.

Motorola will also be including some improvements such as improved touch responses, widget personalization and visual enhancements such as smoother transitions when switching between screens. Improvements to the calendar and Mobile Hotspot connectivity have been made as well, along with the removal of a few apps from the build such as MOG and Sling.

Be on the lookout for this update, as it starts rolling out OTA next Monday.
