Canada: Rogers’ LTE network expanded to 7 new locations

Rogers' LTE network expanded to 7 new locations

Canada’s Rogers Wireless promised to expand its network to 44 new locations by the end of this year, and eventually reach 21.5 million users across the country. As part of that plan, they are now launching 4G services in 7 new markets, including:

  • Airdrie, Alberta;
  • Langley, B.C
  • Keswick, Ontario
  • Hamilton, including Grimsby in Ontario
  • Orillia, Ontario
  • Stratford, Ontario
  • Ottawa, including Kanata, Nepean, Gloucester, Stittsville and Cumberland

Rogers is also proud to be the first carrier to bring LTE to Stratford and Orillia, plus “all of these cities, to the exception of Airdrie, will be running the blazing fast 2600 MHz LTE spectrum.”
