The long-time rumored Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has been caught in the wild and you can see how it looks like from the image above.
Instead of boasting a plastic body, this model comes in a metallic shell with bolts on the back. Moreover, it has three hardware buttons that replace the “old” capacitive touch keys, giving its owners an extra proof of toughness (or something of that sort).
Earlier we reported that the Galaxy S4 Active won’t have processor as fast as the one “regular” Galaxy S4 has; now we’re hearing, it may also have a smaller screen with 480ppi. In addition, it will pack an 8-megapixel camera on the back (instead of a 13-megapixel one).
We still don’t know when Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S4 Active but now that we have the first leaked images, it’s likely we won’t have to wait for too long to get the press release. We’ll get back to you as soon as new details emerge; stay tuned in the meantime…
