LG Optimus G2 to rock a 5.2-inch screen, optical image stabilization?

New details emerged about the upcoming LG Optimus G2 (or just G2). As we’ve already told you, it will be a super-thin device with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor and a powerful 13-megapixel camera on the back. What we didn’t know before is that the camera will have optical image stabilization a la Nokia’s high-end devices. This, in turn, will allow you to more easily take photos even when everyone seems to be moving.

But that’s not all. We’re also hearing the G2 will rock a “slightly bigger than usual” 5.2-inch screen. That, however, won’t take more space since there will be a super-thin bezel around the display.

We like how that sounds and honestly can’t wait to try out the G2 the second it’s out. As far as we know, LG will officially launch its new flagship smartphone on August 7th. It’s likely we’ll get few additional details by that time. Stay tuned…
