You know that we usually get fancy phones with awful specs. Well that’s not the case with the Sugar smartphone, which stands to change that (stupid) practice.
Although it comes with 5.16 carats of Swarovski Gems, the Sugar smartphone packs some solid hardware under the hood. For instance, there’s a 5-inch full HD screen, MediaTek’s quad-core chip coupled with 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, as well as 16 or 32 GB of built-in storage.
The Sugar smartphone has been caught by Engadget China but we’re hearing it may also find its way to the West, with plans to bring it to Europe at some point later this year. Unfortunately, we can’t put the exact date behind that claim and the same goes for the price – we’ve no idea how much this fancy handset will cost once it hits a store near you. Hopefully those missing details will be revealed shortly…
