We’ve already told you that lucky Koreans got the better version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, one that not only has a newer and faster processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 800) but also support for faster mobile data transfer with LTE-Advanced (or just LTE-A). Well that model will also be released in other parts of the world with North America likely to be among the first markets to get it.

Identified as GT-I9506, this Galaxy S4 variant will rock Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and LTE-A support that provides internet speeds of up to 150Mbps.

In comparison, existing Galaxy S4 models sold outside of South Korea come with either Snapdragon 600 or Sammy’s own Exynos 5 Octa processor, both of which are slower than the Snapdragon 800.

Unfortunately we don’t know when exactly Samsung will launch this model and can only hope that will happen sooner rather than later. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have something new to add to this story…
