Apple took to the stage today and announced both the iPhone 5C and the iPhone 5S. The two new handsets will join the iPhone 4S to even out Apple’s handset lineup.
Customers looking to snag an iPhone 5C should be ready to pony up their cash this week as pre-orders for the iPhone 5C start September 13th. The handset will go on sale a week later on September 20th. The iPhone 5S skips the pre-oder process and will go on sale on September 20th.
The two phones will launch in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Signapore and the UK. It’ll be the first time Apple has launched an iPhone right from the start in China. In Japan, the iPhone 5C be on Softbank, KDDI, and NTT DoCoMo. Both phones will eventually land on 100 countries and 270 carriers by the end of the year.
