Lenovo unveiled Miix2, an 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet powered by Intel’s Bay Trail quad-core chip. The device has a WXGA (1280×800 pixels), 10-point multi-touch display, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and up to 128GB of expandable storage.

The Miix2 is only 8.35mm thick and weighing a mere 350mg, while providing users with full Windows experience. Yup, you’ll be able to run all of the apps you got used to on your “regular” laptop. Yeah, we would love the option to get it with more powerful Hashwell chips but I guess that’s asking too much.

Lenovo’s tablet will be available later this month beginning at approximately $299. You can hardly get a better tablet for that money (since you’ll be able to run regular Windows apps, Microsoft Office included).

So are you into buying one of these? Or you prefer something more powerful, like the new Surface Pro 2? Or perhaps some Android tablet or iPad is your thing?
