The hot-new Nokia Lumia 1520 will be available this week in few markets around the world. The sales have already started in France, and by the end of the week, users in Hong Kong, Italy, Russia, and the United States will be able to get the first Windows Phone phablet, as well.

Those of you who lived under a rock for the last few weeks should know that the Lumia 1520 comes with a 6-inch full HD ClearBlack screen, and is also the first Nokia smartphone with “Assertive Display” technology. In addition, it packs a 20-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization, and a powerful camera app that sports some fancy tricks not seen on non-Lumia devices. Plus, let’s not forget Qualcomm’s fast Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity support, a ton of built-in storage, microSD card slot, Qi-compatible wireless charging capability, and so on and on.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 pricing will vary by market, and additional markets will be announced soon…
