If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, Google might have made your year. The company’s Nexus 7 tablet was recently released in white! The white Nexus 7 was quietly released on the Google Play Store earlier today, along with a Google Play Edition of the LG G Pad.

The same great hardware of the black Nexus 7 is encased in plastic that’s as white as the driven snow, at least on the back of the device. The front bezel has the same glossy black hue, giving the whole thing a nice two-tone, checkerboard look. It sports the same burly 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, full 1080p display, and 9 hour battery of the other models of the Nexus 7.

The white Nexus 7 is currently available in the WiFi only, 32GB variety. It can be yours for $269 from the Google Play store. For the time being at least, there are no 16GB or LTE options in this color scheme. So if you want something to match your white Nexus 5, this is the tablet for you.

The Nexus 7 (in whichever color scheme you prefer) remains one of the best values in tablets, and offers up solid specs in a sleek package. This version is like only available in limited stock so the time to act is now. To sweeten the pot, Google’s offering up $35 of Google Play credit when you purchase a Nexus 7 along with its Chromecast streaming dongle.
