Aside from offering the SmartWatch, Sony wants to enter other “aspects” of the smart wearables market. At this year’s CES, the Japanese company has unveiled two cool devices – the Core and SmartBand.
The first of the two is made to record various information about your lifestyle. It syncs to a dedicated Android app called Lifelog only to tell you what kind of lazy person you are. Or, if you do lead an active lifestyle, you can get some useful numbers like calories burned, steps you’ve made, and minutes you’ve spent walking or running.
The Core can be attached to various other devices like the also-new Sony SmartBand. As you would imagine, this thing will occupy your wrist, keeping track of “every move you make.”
The Japanese company also announced a new wireless SBH80 Bluetooth headset, which supports NFC, HD Voice and aptX; as well as the forthcoming update to its SmartWatch 2.
Finally, they said this is just a beginning with more wearable news from Sony coming in the weeks and months to come…
