The newly announced Sony Xperia Z2 will be available in China in a special Deluxe Edition package. Available at some point next month, this version will bundle Sony’s latest flagship with a bunch of accessories, including a DK36 Magnetic Charging Dock, a STM10 Stereo Microphone, a MDR-NC31EM Digital Noise Cancelling Headset, and a SCR10 Style Cover Stand.
This premium package will come with a price; while the “standard” Xperia Z2 will sell for 4,999 Yuan (about $800), the Deluxe Edition will go for 5,499 Yuan ($884). Yeah, we think Sony is asking way too much money for its device and we’re confident the price will go down in just a few months.
Anyhow, we’ve no idea whether this deluxe offering will also be available in the West. Even if that happens, we doubt the Japanese company will ask that much money.
Again, the Xperia Z2 will come with a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip, 3GB of RAM, 5.2-inch full HD TRILUMINOS display, 20.7MP “G Lens” Exmor RS camera, Waterproof IP55 and 58 certified body, and a solid 3,200mAh battery.
