Video: Here’s how Android Wear notifications work

Google’s Senior Developer Advocate Timothy Jordan turned to Google+ (where else?) to show how Android Wear will handle notifications.

He added that any app which serves notifications on an Android smartphone or tablet will be able to extend the capability to users’ wrists with just a few lines of code. This in turn will allow developers to “deliver even richer experiences on the wearable by using stacks, pages, and voice replies.” Or so the saying goes.

Users on their end will be able to swipe through different notifications and hopefully manage which apps can serve notifications to their wrists and which should be avoided. I doubt many users will care to have all Farmville updates delivered to their watch.

Anyhow, here’s that video – do tell us whether you like these notifications or not. 😉
