RIM’s got another BlackBerry outage on its hands- here we go again

BlackBerry is like CrackBerry - outages againReports are starting to come in from all over the interwebs that Research In Motion (RIM) – makers of the BlackBerry and overlords of the BlackBerry BIS network – have another BlackBerry outage on their hands. We can just imagine the hoards of CrackBerry addicts that are starting to feel the wrenching effects of data withdrawal.

Thus far T-Mobile and AT&T have confirmed the outages on their end, but we have a feeling that Sprint and Verizon users are feeling the pinch as well. It’s not clear if this is a carrier-specific issue, but seeing as how different carriers are reporting the outage, we’re thinking RIM is behind this one.

Wait, we thought this wasn’t supposed to be able to happen again. If RIM is to blame for this outage, then we’ve got another server crash that was not only supposed to be impossible, but for the second time this year. Any BlackBerry users out there experiencing problems? Let us know.

UPDATE
It looks like our Canadian friends are experiencing some email outages as well. This is officially an international problem.
