MovieTickets.comProbably one of the most popular Internet movie ticketing service, MovieTickets.com, announced its mobile offering, hence allowing customers to buy movie tickets in advance even easier. Thanks to the partnership with MobileGates, movie goers can now search for a movie by location or title, buy tickets, access a listing of new releases, box office information, read movie news, and even view detailed local area maps to the theaters. In addition, the new mobile service also offers personalization features that include the ability to recall individual searches, favorite theaters and provide quick and easy access to movies and showtimes in specific locations. And let’s not forget – in its release, MovieTickets.com also said that it will soon add movie related mobile content, such as games, ringtones, wallpapers and screensavers to its offering.

In a nutshell – if you live in the U.S. and are visiting theaters regularly, you may want to check out mobile.movietickets.com from any Web-enabled mobile device or iphone.movietickets.com from your iPhone.
