Samsung U900 FlipShot on VerizonWe expected the Samsung U900 FlipShot and its 3 megapixel and swiveling display to hit Verizon Wireless’s network last week, but it seems that launch window has come and gone. Now, we hearing that the Samsung U900 FlipShot will be pulling duty as the Samsung A990 successor later this week.

Just in time for the holiday shopping season that is officially kicked-off on Thanksgiving Day, Verizon should be shipping the Samsung U900 FlipShot in Red or Black on Wednesday, November 21. The U900 FlipShot should be lighter and slimmer than the A990, but still packs a wallop with the 3 megapixel camera with its automatic lens cover, swiveling display, TV-out, and external music controls.

We’re looking for the Samsung U900 FlipShot to command a $199 price tag upon committing to Verizon’s service for a couple years.
