Asus M930W CommunicatorRoughly a month and a half ago, we reported Asus is working on the Communicator-like device called M930. Now we have more information about it, including specs and the first images thanks to the French site GPS&Co.

Apparently, the upcoming device will use Marvell’s PXA270M 520 MHz CPU, boasting such specs as tri-band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and HSDPA connectivity support, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, WiFi, 256 MB ROM and 128 Mb of RAM, and of course the microSD slot that can read MicroSDHC cards. One thing we’re not sure is whether the upcoming device also sports the GPS receiver, although we wouldn’t be surprised to see it on-board as well. As expected, Windows Mobile 6 is running the show…

Finally, from the photos we got, we must note a single thing we don’t like. That’s the internal screen, which is kinda small considering how much space there is left on the flip side. Hopefully, we’ll see this improved in the future upgrades.

And now on with the mentioned photos.
