Grameenphone is the company that is bringing BlackBerry smartphone to Bangladesh, and which is to blame for all the country’s push-email addicts they’ll be “producing” in the coming months and years.

BlackBerry arrives to BangladeshAnd while we think a number of Windows Mobile and Symbian based smartphones can also do the job, Grameenphone’s CEO Anders Jensen thinks it’s the BlackBerry that is considered as the “gold standard in mobility for business users around the world.” He even added, they are “proud to be the first mobile operator launching the BlackBerry platform in Bangladesh, bringing in the next level of global connectivity for businesses.”

All I can say is good luck with that — no I’ve nothing against RIM’s offering. Just remember, BlackBerrys can be also used for fun like poking your Facebook buddies… 😉
