ShoZu goes beyond mobile; Unveils desktop application

ShoZu desktopTo be fair this isn’t actually “pure” mobile news, but we love ShoZu that much (as you can see from the number of posts we have about them) that we’re going with it nevertheless.

Folks behind the popular mobile application — which allows users to instantly share their photos and videos with their friends directly from their handsets — announced their first desktop application. Still in beta, ShoZu Desktop works on both PC and Mac computers and makes the process of uploading multimedia content as simple as drag and drop. Sure, you may have Flickr uploader and Picasa installed on your computer, but can you instantly publish a single file on multiple media sharing and social networking sites? Now you can! Heck, you can even set tags, titles and descriptions to any photo or video before uploading.

Over 30 destinations are supported — including Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and YouTube — and you can already start using it. Here’s the link.
