Sony Ericsson Xperia X1

As the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 launch date is approaching we hear more rumors about the upcoming release. Lately, we’ve heard the unlocked Xperia will hit the UK market on October 30th. That’s about in line with earlier rumors which suggested Hutchinson’s 3 will release the device in November. Plus, let’s not forget we saw some of the Xperia accessories leaked suggesting there’s some merit to this story.

As a reminder, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is the first Windows Mobile smartphone made by the Swedish-Japanese handset maker. It sports a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen, WiFi, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera, tons of memory, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a whole lot more.

According to the Mobiletor (our source for the story), the unlocked Xperia X1 will be available for 599.99 GBP (about $1,140) in UK.
