Nokia 5800 Tube coming to UK on October 8th?

Nokia 5800 Tube

We do expect to see Nokia releasing its first touchscreen device running the latest version of S60 this year. The Nokia 5800 Tube has been caught in the wild for quite a few times and we have even seen screenshots of the browser. However, the Finnish giant is still quiet about the release date.

Now we have a new information, suggesting Nokia may actually launch the Tube on October 8th. Apparently, the first market that will be blessed with Nokia’s touchscreen wonder is the United Kingdom.

And that’s about all we know at this stage. I would argue Nokia will announce rather than launch the 5800 Tube in that period. After all it took them few months to release the N96, which was announced back in February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. We keep watching, have no doubt about it…
